Filmmaking by the Numbers with with Greenville, South Carolina-based filmmaker Emily Reach White. Emily is a D.I.Y. filmmaking pioneer who went all-in for film in 2009 when she bought a DSLR camera at Target and signed up for a Kickstarter account with her husband Chris White.
Since then, the Whites have produced six feature-length films and dozens of shorts — including ELECTRIC JESUS, UNBECOMING, CINEMA PURGATORIO.
Under the banner, Studio Fifteen, the Whites' vision has expanded beyond mere production into film finance, development, distribution, and real estate (no, not a studio, a retreat center for filmmakers!).
Emily and Chris are proud TRIFF alumni, and she is eager to share their journey with other self-starting film entrepreneurs with big ideas.
