Award-winning writer, director, and author Demetrius Witherspoon, owner of DV Entertainment Pictures, presents a hands-on class for aspiring filmmakers aged 13 and up. With experience directing actors from The Walking Dead, Star Wars, and Marvel, and as the creator of the award-winning sci-fi series Submerge Universe on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Tubi, and Submerge Universe TV, Demetrius brings a wealth of industry insight. This engaging session offers a practical introduction to low-budget filmmaking, empowering participants to bring their stories to life creatively and resourcefully. Whether aspiring to direct, write, or edit, attendees will gain essential techniques to craft compelling films without a big budget.
