Her talk, "Virginity to Childless Cat Ladies: How to Make Funny Feminist Films," is loaded with with clips from her hilarious documentaries. Learn about how she broke into the film industry, and how she sees humor as an important feminist tool. Shechter will also preview her new film, "My So-called Selfish Life," which draws upon a heady mix of pop culture, science, and history to reveal the rich diverse lives of people who’ve said no to having children–and the forces that have marginalized them in society." ---Trixie Films
