Bella Baxter evaluates all of this in her very own magical way – and it is a true delight to accompany her on that path.POOR THINGS won the Oscars in all equipment categories and rightly so; it has been a long time since there was such an opulent visual spectacle to marvel at. Lord knows, filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos didn't miss a beat. But to see Emma Stone here in her passionate joy of playing is a real miracle. And by the way, we reflect on our own world in this absurdly displaced fantasy and laugh, marvel, and become thoughtful in the end.
