Fundraising event: Film screening of "The Teacher"A multiple awards-winning film that narrates the story of a Palestinian school teacher who struggles to reconcile his risky commitment to political resistance with his emotional support for one of his students and the chance of a new relationship with a volunteer worker.
"The Teacher" was written, directed and produced by Farah Nabulsi, an Academy Award®-nominated and BAFTA®-winning Palestinian-British filmmaker.

Tickets include a light dinner/Iftar, film screening followed by an open mic conversation.
