About this Event
The Encampments celebrates the student activism that led to the proliferation of solidarity encampments in colleges and universities across the world during the spring of 2024. In solidarity with the people of Gaza, students came together to resist their institution’s complicity in Israeli settler colonialism and genocide. Focusing on the encampment at Columbia University, the film features student activists Mahmoud Khalil, Grant Miner and Sueda Polot.
The event is free, but donations to SWVA C4P fundraisers are highly encouraged. You can find out more on our linktree and QR codes will be available during the event. Bring your friends and family and come and kick off the new school year with us!
