In “Comedy Against the Odds,” ten-year-old Austin Eletto brings his personal perspective to the stand-up comedy stage, using humor to bridge identity and build connection. Through his witty observations and sharp timing, Austin crafts material that resonates with audiences while challenging assumptions about autism. The documentary reveals how comedy can be a medium for authentic self-expression and community building. Warning: contains strong adult language. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion and audience Q&A about the topics the film addresses. The panel will consist of Kim Musheno, a Senior Director at The Arc of the United States, and Nicole LeBlanc, a Self-Advocate and Autism policy consultant. Light refreshments will be served following the panel discussion. There is no charge to attend.
