Join your Carbondale Branch Library and Town of Carbondale to get excited for Potato Day! We’ll have a special screening of the 1949 film “Red Stallion in the Rockies” in celebration of the film’s 75th anniversary and the Potato Day theme of “Mr. McClure Goes to Hollywood.” Filmed in the Roaring Fork Valley, the film tells the story of two ex-circus performers who endeavor to catch and protect an apparently wild stallion. We’ll watch the film together at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3 at the library. It’s free and open to all. For more information call the library at 970-963-2889.
