Celebrate National Library Week with a special screening of Free for All: The Public Library on Tuesday, April 8th at 6 PM at the Library. This inspiring documentary explores the history, impact, and ongoing importance of public libraries as essential community spaces.Directed by Dawn Logsdon and Lucie Faulknor, Free for All highlights the role libraries play in shaping the country and providing a sanctuary for Americans everywhere. We'll be showing a shortened version of the film, with the full documentary premiering on PBS on April 29th.
After the screening, stay for a discussion led by our Executive Director, Lisa Scroggins, about the significance of public libraries and their impact on our community. Popcorn will be provided!
