In the end, An Inconvenient Truth accomplishes what all great films should: it leaves the viewer shaken, involved and inspired.

About the Sustainability Film Series
Jointly hosted by the Institute for Sustainability and Resilience, the Better Tomorrow Speaker Series, the State of Hawaiʻi Climate Commission, and HOMA, the Sustainability Film Series is designed to explore contemporary issues at the intersection of human and natural environments. The series combines films and panel discussions aimed at linking film themes to Hawai‘i and the region. The 2025-2026 series kicked-off in September with a sold-out screening of Ocean with David Attenborough. Keep an eye out for information regarding the next installments in the series.
