This will be the first in a series of curated film screenings shown at the Goethe-Institut featuring an array of short, feature length and experimental films.'Or de Vie' (A Golden Life) is a documentary movie directed by Boubacar Sangare that premiered in 2023 at the Berlinale. It portraits the life and dreams of Rasmané, a 16 year old boy working the precarious conditions of the goldmines of Burkina Faso.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A and discussion with the director Boubacar Sangare.
