But this isn’t just a story about vegetables. It’s about roots - the ones in the ground and the ones that connect us through generations. Drawing from his Mexican-American heritage, Daniel carries forward family traditions of growing, cooking, and gathering - showing how the everyday rituals of food and farming can pass down stories, keep culture alive, and bring a whole community together.
