Tonight we once again kick off the season with a filmnight, where chairs will be set out around tables and members encouraged to bring snacks, nibbles and liquid refreshments, including alcohol if you so wish. Tonight's film is “Chasing Ice”. Acclaimed photographer James Balog was once sceptical about climate change but through his clever use of time-lapse cameras he presents us with the frightening reality of how our world is rapidly changing.

Thinking of joining the club? Visitors and those seeking to join the Society are welcome at any of the meetings but are restricted to those over 18 years of age. A visitor’s fee, normally £3 per evening, but occasionally £5 for special events will be charged and visitors should sign the Visitors’ Book.
