Join us on Tuesday, November 5th for an evening of film, culture, and conversation! We’ll start with a casual meetup at Café Årummet at 6:00 PM, where you can grab coffee, enjoy great company, and chat about film, before the screening. Then, we’ll head over to Fyrisbiografen together at 7:15 PM to watch Kneecap, a film that follows an Irish-speaking rap trio’s rebellious journey to revive their native language.

About Kneecap
Directed by Rich Peppiatt, Kneecap tells the true story of three Irish-language rappers from Belfast who find themselves leading a cultural movement through their music. Mixing dark humor and raw emotion, Kneecap captures the powerful journey of three artists fighting to keep their language and heritage alive.

Our host will post a picture of our table on this event page 20 minutes before the meetup, so you can easily find us.
We’ll walk together to Fyrisbiografen at 7:15 PM to secure good seats before the 7:45 PM screening.
After the film, stay for a short discussion where we’ll reflect on Kneecap’s themes and its unique portrayal of Irish culture through hip-hop. Everyone’s welcome to the pre-meetup, but please comment below to RSVP so we can reserve enough seats at the café.
