NEXT "Meet the NEW Victoria Film Commissioner" FILM MIXER Sat Nov23rd 2024. This event will likely sell out quickly, please DM Victoria to be put on the list. It was so great to see so many of you at the Malahat Studio Mixer in October.
This next film mixer will be great to attend for anyone that's curious about what the NEW Film Commissioner is going to put in place in her new position. You'll also network with who is doing what in the city and on the island and connect with those whose media/film projects and energy feel and sound interesting to you.
VENUE / LOCATION:
Our "Meet the NEW Victoria Film Commissoner" Film Mixer with Special Guest Tara-Lee Novak will be held at the Haus of Owl: Creation Lab at 780 Blanshard Street, corner of Burdett, where I currently run my Posh Intertainment events. It's an amazing Co Creating space for dynamic individuals doing super cool things in Media and the Arts.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE:
We have ramp access and an elevator for those that have difficulty with stairs.
DATE: Saturday, Nov 23rd, 1:45pm-4pm, please arrive on time!
(DOOR GREETER there 1:30-2:30pm after that you will not be able to get in as this is a private Creators facility)
PARKING: Easiest parking is City of Victoria Parkade with access just off Courtney Str a block away. Give yourself time to park and walk a block. DO NOT PARK IN BUILDING LOT, YOU WILL BE TOWED.
DRESS/THEME: Film family casual.

2:15-2:20pm - Intro's and Updates
2:20-3:00pm - Host Victoria Clements of Posh Intertainment will Interview the NEW Victoria Film Commissioner Tara-Lee Novak on what she'll be doing now that she is in her new position at the Vancouver Island South Film and Media Commission.
3:00 - 3:30pm - Questions for Tara from the attendees.
3:30-3:55PM - Networking
3:55pm - Closing remarks
4pm - WRAP

This grant includes the right to use Product for promoting or publicizing.

We've been waiting 2 years to have the Victoria Film Commissioner attend one of our Film Mixers as our Special guest so I can't wait to see you all and hear the questions you'll have for her about her plans!
