The movie stars James Caan as Frank, a professional safecracker who dreams of leaving his criminal life behind to start a family and live a normal, honest existence. After years of working independently, Frank agrees to take one last big job for a powerful crime boss, played by Robert Prosky. However, the deal quickly turns sour as Frank realizes he’s been trapped in a web of corruption and control that threatens his freedom and everything he’s built. The film also features Tuesday Weld as Frank’s love interest, Jessie, Willie Nelson in a small but memorable role as Frank’s mentor, and Jim Belushi in his first film appearance.
