He is also a director, with notable works like Red Balloon and Family Seductions (sold to Netflix US). Avi’s advocacy for emerging filmmakers is evident through initiatives like Indiecan10K and Indiecan20K, which help new talent navigate the industry and secure distribution.
Tony Armer is an expert in film production, distribution, and promotion with a two-decade-long career. He is the Head of Physical Production at Talon Entertainment Finance and has served as Film Commissioner for St. Petersburg Clearwater, where he helped attract significant film investments. Tony co-founded the Sunscreen Film Festival, a platform for independent filmmakers, and has worked on films distributed by major companies like Lionsgate. His extensive experience in both production and distribution has made him a key figure in the industry.
