About this Event
A film about why you should join a club… and why the fate of America depends on it.
Could joining a club really help to heal the division we face in our nation?
This documentary brings us the perspective of famed social scientist, Robert Putnam (author of Bowling Alone) formed by his decades-long research into the decline of interpersonal community connections in America and the rise of individualism, loneliness, and a divided nation. What seems like an overly simplified answer (joining a club) to a complex problem, may have some merit.
Join us to watch the film and then discuss how we, especially as Christians, can play a role in bringing hope and healing to our divided and lonely neighbors.
The Good Neighbor Project is a Christian non-profit organization in Lancaster, PA that invites people into spaces where they can deepen their experience, understanding, and practice of the call to love God and their neighbor.
