Welcome to “Republic of Comedy”, the new international comedy club in Lisbon’s growing comedy scene! Bringing shows with the best local and international comedians at Xafarix, a historic venue tucked away in the heart of the city. This week we are proud to feature FILIPPO SPREAFICO!
Italian comedian Filippo Spreafico is back after touring his previous signature comedy show, already sold out in 15 countries.
After his first comedy show about quitting comedy, his second about his beginnings in comedy, Filippo’s third show is about coming up with a theme for a comedy show.
Mixing standup routines with audience interaction and music, Filippo draws from his cosmopolitan bag of charms, engaging the most disparate audiences with his irreverent and unpredictable style.
Filippo was featured on Comedy Central and Italian public broadcast RAI 2, performed in four continents and took part to the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, and tours Europe and Italy regularly.
The show includes improvisation, music and an Italian accent.
