From October 20 to 26, 2025, Filipino cuisine will take center stage in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin for the first Filipino Restaurant Week (FRW). This week-long event introduces foodies to the rich and diverse flavors of the Philippines, with Filipino restaurants showcasing traditional and modern dishes that tell stories of heritage and community.Participating restaurants will offer fixed-price menus featuring Filipino dishes like adobo, kare-kare, and halo-halo, giving diners a chance to experience the rich culinary traditions shaped by centuries of history.
