Join us for a special virtual Filipino Folk Song Workshop series with accomplished artists Dr. Wayland and Desiree Quintero, co-founders of ILI Performing Arts!
Children, Teens, and other participants will be introduced to three songs of the Philippine archipelago. Singing folks songs is one way for Filipino Americans to begin to learn about culture, language, and history in a fun setting.
Starting in March, six sessions will be conducted virtually at FilCom Center with the aim for the group to joyfully sing the songs at a public recital.
