1. Tournament Opening and Registration will be on Friday, July 5, 2024 at the FIL-AM Pensacola Community Center, 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM2. Game schedule lottery will be conducted on the Tournament Opening and Registration date at 5:00 PM. Teams that are not represented on the Opening/Registration day will be assigned the first game on the next day (Saturday, July 5, 2024 @ COBB Gym)
3. There are 11 teams tentatively participating; double elimination
4. Team Rosters are due Saturday, June 15, 2024; to include the Team, Coach and Players Name, as well as the Jersey number of each player and shirt sizes (S, M, L, XL, XXL-for free FIL-AM Tournament Shirts)
5. The FIL-AM Basketball Tournament provides opportunity for Filipinos and those with Filipino ethnicity (part Filipino) to compete with one another; participants with questionable Filipino ethnicity shall provide proof (birth certificate, verification of parents or grandparents (through identification card) or show Filipino heritage by fluently speaking the Filipino language or dialect(s).
6. Award Ceremony will be conducted on Sunday, July 7, 2024 @ FIL-AM Pensacola Community Center right after the Championship Game (Champion and Runner-Up will be awarded medals; the FIL-AM Champion trophy, displayed in the Community Center, will have an inscription of the 2024 Champion’s Team name)
7. The cost to participate is $30.00 per player
