About this Event
Join Leigha for our new figure drawing workshop series featuring a variety of live models. Artists of all levels are encouraged to enhance their technical drawing skills and embrace the meditative practice of observing and appreciating the human form. Please bring your own drawing materials and seating for your comfort; we have yoga bolsters, blankets, and pencils on hand to offer, & enjoy kava and tea during the session.Our host, Leigha, is a talented visual artist and dancer residing in Holualoa. With a background in fine woodworking and furniture making over the past 4 years, Leigha is well-versed in scientific illustration, wood pyrography, and encaustic beeswax painting. Drawing from her experiences as both a student and a model for life drawing, Leigha is excited to facilitate this opportunity for attendees to explore and celebrate the beauty of the human form.
