Welcome to our Figure Drawing event! Join us for a fun and creative session where you can hone your drawing skills and capture the human form. This in-person event provides a great opportunity to practice sketching live models and connect with fellow artists. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, everyone is welcome to participate. Don't forget to bring your favorite drawing supplies and get ready for a day filled with artistic inspiration!

Bring whatever medium you prefer to work with. Easels, and sculpture stands available. Students will have the opportunity to observe the beauty of the human figure, creating art from the live model, and learning how to translate form in space. Chapman Hamborg and Emma Garay will demonstrate different techniques and concepts each session, and can give you feedback on your work if you wish. There will be an emphasis on proportions, gesture and balance based on classical ideals and principles, designed to enhance the student’s ability to capture poses.
