Galway City Library will be hosting two Creative Writing workshops for teenagers, run by Fighting Words, on Thursday 20 June. These workshops are for ages 13-18 years. Participants can attend either the 11am-1pm session or the 2pm-4pm session. The workshops are free of charge, but booking is required. To book, call 091-509094 or email [email protected].
Fighting Words is a creative writing organisation established in 2009 by author Roddy Doyle and Seán Love in Dublin. Their aim is to help students of all ages to develop their writing skills and to explore their love of writing.
