If you have been hurt before by others, looking for personal hope or just want to know more about how to help those you love, we pray you join us!This is a FREE event but we will be doing a special offering that night to bless Jesslyn with as she takes the faith step to come from North Carolina for this event. Jesslyn McCutcheon is a member of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) NW Piedmont and the AACC (American Association of Christian Counseling). Since being diagnosed with bipolar 1 disorder 24 years ago, she actively advocates and speaks regarding mental illness to normalize and destigmatize conversations around mental health. Her ministry, Fighting Goliath for Mental Illness helps and empowers women who live with bipolar disorder manage their symptoms more effectively through resources, lived, experience and incorporating God’s word in order to live a more fulfilling life. Jesslyn is currently in the process of writing her first book on her mental health journey and finding the God given purpose for her life. Her book is scheduled to be published March 2025. Jesslyn is a member of First Baptist King and is an active part of singing on the praise team and choir. Jesslyn, her husband Jason and three daughters, Isabella, Selah, and Abigail reside in Stokes county, NC. Along with their dog, Shandi.
