A scammer could try to contact you by phone pretending to be a law enforcement officer, they could reach you by email telling you that you have won a lottery, and some even use social media. Are you prepared to fight back against these scams and keep your financial health safe? Join the Sanford Police Department’s Fighting Fraud – Financial Wellness Workshop and Senior Resource Fair to learn how you can fight back against fraud and be your own financial defender! There will also be a Senior Resource Fair with local resources which can help our seniors with a variety of topics ranging from financial wellness to physical wellbeing. This event is FREE and open to the community.
