Opening Tuesday, August 26, 2025, will be a new exhibit at the Small Classroom at the original Murray Schoolhouse, Dublin Heritage Park & Museums.Discover the forgotten heroes of 1960s Dublin, whose dedication formed the basis of our community’s safety. Travel back in time to experience the evolution of firefighting through vintage gear, firsthand accounts, and tales of danger, bravery and courage, as well as the everyday life of early Dublin firefighters. Join us in honoring the legacy of the Valley Community Service District, Dublin San Ramon Service District and Dougherty Regional Fire Authority firefighters who battled smoke, flames and heat to protect Dublin’s homes and families.
The exhibit will run from late August 2025 through February 2026.
