Fighter is a parable about a phoenix who falls from her world in the sky and ends up in one of the most unlikely places – a high school! There she meets characters like the Cheerleader, Football team captain, and Valedictorian who all have their own issues they’re struggling with. Each character has their own aerial apparatus that they perform on, showing the inner pain they are experiencing, while trying to appear perfect on the outside. Inner darkness, who performs a death-defying act on the aerial straps, is trying to drag each of these characters down.
The phoenix, though covered in her own ashes, helps each one of these characters overcome Inner Darkness, and one by one she sheds her ashes until she becomes a beautiful phoenix once more – more beautiful and glorious than she was before.
The original songs are beautiful and the aerial acts will take your breath away in this timeless story of good verses evil. As your kids watch the transformation of the phoenix, they will realize that they, too, can overcome their own struggles and rise from the ashes!
