About the Event
Fight with Faith is a free, family-friendly event dedicated to honoring children affected by pediatric cancer—especially those battling or lost to DIPG and DMG—and to bringing the Colorado community together in support, awareness, and action.
Held during Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, the event features a symbolic remembrance ceremony, a community resource fair, and the distribution of Bags of Hope and Condolence filled with comforting items and tools for families navigating life with or after childhood cancer.
This event is co-hosted by the Marc Jr Foundation and Marystrong Foundation, both led by parents who have lost children to DIPG and are committed to ensuring no family walks this path alone.
What to Expect
9am-10am: A Living Rosary Ceremony (open to all, regardless of faith) honoring each child with a bead representing their story
9am-1pm: Memorial and Support Walls celebrating children currently fighting or remembered
10am-noon: A resource fair featuring nonprofits, hospitals, grief support, mental health providers, and advocacy groups. Games, giveaways, food, and music to create a space of healing, connection, and encouragement
10am- 1pm: Bags of Hope and Condolence provided for all attending families affected by pediatric cancer
Noon-1pm: Adoration in the Chapel for all who desire in celebration of the upcoming Canonization of Carlos Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati
