The Fight for Air Climb is a competitive stair climb designed to challenge the climber to get to the top of the stairs as fast as possible. This year's climb will be held at The Clyde Hotel in downtown Albuquerque and will be a total of 365 steps. It is truly a fight for air and those who take on the challenge serve as champions for more than 300,000 New Mexican's affected by lung disease. Each step supports someone fighting for each breath. In addition to the Climb, we will be presenting, in partnership with AT&T, the Fire Fighter of the Year Award. The award is presented to a New Mexico Fire Fighter that exemplifies outstanding service and dedication in their role. The awardee is nominated by their community, peers or leadership.
