On Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11 at 3:00 p.m., St. John’s Episcopal Church will present “Fifty Years After the Vietnam War: Program of Remembrance and Reflection” at 225 French Street in Bangor, Maine. The program will include poems by Michael Casey, Yusef Komunyakaa, Bobbi Trotter, and others, read by Nancy Dymond, Dillon Murray, Jerry Lyden, and Jeff Sychterz; reflections by Tom Bennett, Nancy Dymond, Rabbi Bill Siemers, and the Rev. Jarrett Kerbel; and music by Sergei Rachmaninoff and Carson Cooman, played by Marisa Solomon, Patricia Stowell, and Jack Burt. A reception will follow.
