Regulations of the Fifth Tournament in Goju-ryu Karate Kata for the Prizes of the Moscow Goju-ryu Karate Federation.Venue and time.
The tournament will be held on January 19, 2025 at the address: Moscow, Profsoyuznaya St., 62, bldg. 5, UFOK "Cheremushki".
Requirements for participants.
Athletes of sports clubs and federations practicing Goju-ryu karate.
Conditions of the event.
The competition is individual. Athletes have the right to compete in two categories: "by age" and "by qualification".
Competitions in the "by age" category are held according to the "flag" system. In this case, before the performance, the participants of this fight tie red and blue belts.
Competitions in the "by qualification" category are held according to the point system. Points are awarded to each participant separately, and the winner is determined by the higher sum of points. The range of scores for the first round is 5-7 points, for the second round 6-8, for the third round 7-9, with tenths of a point. The competition is held in 3 rounds. In the first round, a participant in the "Kyu" or "Dan" category performs Shitei kata.

By age
Girls 15 - 17 years old;
Women 18 - 39 years old;
Women 40 years and older;
Boys 15 - 17 years old;
Men 18 - 39 years old;
Men 40 - 44 years old;
Men 45 - 49 years old;
Men 50 - 59 years old;
Men 60 years and older.
By qualification
Women 10 - 1 kyu, kata for the first round Gekisai Dai 1 or 2;
Women 1 dan and above, kata for the first round Saifa;
Men 10 - 7 kyu, first round kata Gekisai Dai 1 or 2;
Men 6 - 4 kyu, first round kata Gekisai Dai 1 or 2;
Men 3 - 1 kyu, first round kata Gekisai Dai 1 or 2;
Men 1 dan, first round kata Saifa;
Men 2 dan, first round kata Seiyunchin;
Men 3 - 4 dan, first round kata Seiyunchin;
Men 5 dan and above, first round any kata.

09:00 – 10:00 credentials committee.
10:00 – competition starts.
12:00 – grand opening.
16:00 – awards ceremony.
Winners and prize winners are awarded a cup, medal and diploma.
Third place is one.
Charitable contribution for participation in the tournament is three thousand rubles.
