Hudson’s BBQ is excited to host the Fifth Annual Scot Hudson Toy Drive Kickoff on Sunday, October 5th, from 1 PM – 4 PM. Shop local vendors, grab a bite from local food trucks, and drop off toy donations to support children in Douglas County this holiday season.Special Giveaway: Bring 5 toys or more and you’ll be entered into our raffle for a Blackstone Outdoor Griddle! Thanks to generous donations from ACE Hardware and other local businesses, you could win gift cards, prizes, and more. Come out, give back, and enjoy a day of food, shopping, and community spirit!
Scot Hudson, known for his selfless service to the community, made it his mission each Christmas to ensure local families could provide joy for their children. His daughter, Elena Hudson, continues this tradition, inviting the community to join in making the holiday season special for every child.
The toy drive collects unopened toy donations, which will be distributed locally to the following organizations:
- Douglas County School System
- S.H.A.R.E House
- JC Freedom House
- Douglas County Shelter Transitional Housing for Women & Children
- Local Children in Need
