Since leaving the Perth music scene in 2019, guitarist/vocalist Kallan Phillips (Great Gable, Milford Street Shakers, Randa & the Soul Kingdom) has found himself working as a diplomat and travelling to some of the most remote places in the world. Flying in for one night of funk and soul jamming at The Ellington, Kallan will be joined by a selection of Perth’s finest musicians to play music from artists such as Stevie Wonder, Prince, Al Jarreau, Paul Simon, and Average White Band, and share stories of life in the Marshall Islands, Tuvalu and Kazakhstan.
