What does it take to feed a hungry crowd? We’re stocking up with one ton of sausage, 5,000 buns, and 800 pounds of sauerkraut…and that’s just to serve bratwurst! We’ll also have Reuben sandwiches, Leberkäse, Bavarian soft pretzels, potato pancakes, and other German specialties. Beer, wine, and soft drinks are available, including 15 different German brews on tap!
KINGS, QUEENS AND AMBASSADORS: El Rey Feo traditionally visits Fiesta Gartenfest on Wednesday and King Antonio on Thursday.
ENTERTAINMENT: includes Cloverleaf, the Fire Mountain Cloggers, the 50-piece Beethoven Concert Band, the Beethoven German Dance Band, the Beethoven Big Band, and more! The Beethoven Maennerchor and Damenchor choirs will also lead sing-a-longs of Biergarten favorites throughout all three nights, so be prepared to raise your glass and PROST!
PRICE: $8 pre-order, $10 at the gate. You can pre-purchase here online or inside our store and bar at the Beethoven! Kids 12 & under, active duty military, “First Responders,” members of German-American organizations, and Fiesta San Antonio Commission members get in free!
HISTORY: Founded in 1867, the Beethoven Maennerchor is Texas' oldest active singing society. Proceeds from Fiesta Gartenfest help the Beethoven preserve German music, language, customs, and culture in San Antonio. The Beethoven, including our full beer and wine bar and beer garden, is regularly open to the public from 4pm - 12am Tuesday - Saturday with German food from 5pm - 9pm.
