About this Event
Santa Barbara Historical Museum invites you to celebrate a century of Old Spanish Days Fiesta in our community. Join us for the debut of our centennial Project Fiesta exhibition with cultural performances, cocktails, tacos, dancing under the stars, and a toast to one hundred years by Mayor Randy Rouse.
The evening of entertainment will include performances by the 2024 Spirit and Junior Spirit of Fiesta, music by Tony Ybarra and Lorenzo Martinez, and local band Area 51.
Guests are encouraged to wear Fiesta attire.

It is impossible to stage a Fiesta here unless the people of the community have the spirit of the Fiesta themselves. The Spirit of the Fiesta is not a tangible thing to be dug out of a chest and exhibited for three days every year. The Fiesta spirit is a latent force which springs to life during the celebration, giving the city a joyous and festive appearance in which the legacy of the past is brought again to light.
- Sam Stanwood, El Presidente, 1927-1947
