We will delve into all things fire to add to your belly dance performances! There will be discussions on fire safety for dancers, what our fuel choices are, and how we're storing fuel. We will also look at various fire props, and some basic moves to use while you're dancing. Then when all that's covered, we’ll light up some props, and give it a try so you have a chance to practice! 🥰
This Smoldering event will take place February 21, 2026 from 4pm to 7pm at the Schoolyard Winery 14923 WALTON-VERONA ROAD VERONA, KENTUCKY 41092 (Across from the post office)
Bring your favorite props, wear natural fibers, and secure hair. Best option for beginners is jeans, long sleeve cotton shirt and ball cap.
There is no charge to attend... yep you read that right! The workshop is free!!! Cash donations are accepted to help out with fuel and supply costs if you choose.
