We will be creating a lunar calendar using the turtle shell, as we do so we will learn about each moon phase.
The moon often seen as a feminine symbol. Women were previously thought to have a special connection to the moon due to the similarity in the lengths of the moon's cycles and the cycles of a woman. Many traditions view menstruation as a sacred and powerful time. The 13 Moon Calendar can serve as a reminder of that sacredness. Individuals can cultivate a more mindful, intentional relationship with their body and their natural rhythms.
