About this Event
Put the icing on the cake of LA Times Food Bowl weekend with an exclusive event celebrating Curtis Stone’s Emmy-nominated series, ‘Field Trip with Curtis Stone.’
Begin the evening with a pre-event reception, then join us for a live screening of “Field Trip with Curtis Stone: Hong Kong." After the screening, Curtis will be joined by renowned Hong Kong chef Vicky Cheng to discuss the episode and the region’s cooking and cuisine. A live Q&A will follow.
About The Episode: Curtis heads to Hong Kong where he discovers the overlapping influences of tradition and a modern food scene that carries a deep respect for the past. Folding dumplings with a master who has been at it for 40 years, exploring jars of ancient ingredients and facing up to a martial art legend whose most famous student was Bruce Lee, Curtis reconciles the balance between the old and the new.
