A return to the Deeside Naturalists’ Reserve on the SW corner of the Dee Estuary to look for ducks and waders.The Deeside Naturalists’ Society was formed in 1973 with the aim of stimulating interest in natural history and contributing to the conservation of flora and fauna in the Deeside area. The reserve now benefits from Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) status, Ramsar Convention recognition and Special Protection Area (SPA) status.
