Great Field Training Officers do not happen by accident. They are built deliberately.Our Field Training Officer: “Forge the Future” course is a two-day, 16-hour program designed for experienced officers who are responsible for shaping the next generation. This course goes beyond checklists and paperwork. We focus on mentorship, evaluation, leadership, accountability, and running a field training program that actually works in the real world.
Hosted by the Westover Police Department and approved for WV-LEPS annual or supervisory in-service, this course gives FTOs and coordinators practical tools they can apply immediately.
