The Field of Honor event in Fort Collins is a poignant tribute to our nation's heroes. Picture 500 American flags flying in formation, each representing a specific hero with their own story. This display not only honors veterans and active military members but also celebrates first responders, medical workers, teachers, and other local heroes.Attendees are encouraged to walk among the flags and read the attached medallions, which provide information about each hero being honored. Those who wish to acknowledge their own hero can do so by purchasing a medallion for a flag at https://rotaryfcbreakfast.org/
Proceeds from medallion sales and community support will benefit local non-profits serving veterans and first responders, as well as other community projects. Additionally, the AVTT Traveling Vietnam Wall will be on display, serving as a reminder of the sacrifices made during the Vietnam War.
This Memorial Day weekend event offers a moment for reflection and gratitude as we come together to honor those who have served and sacrificed for our country. It's a beautiful opportunity for the community to unite and pay tribute to our heroes.
