About this Event
Come and join us to get a behind-the-scenes experience at two of our local green producers. We’ll be visiting an agricultural field to explore farming practices and Nancy’s Country Gardens to check out horticultural production. Bring your lunch to enjoy a picnic at Nancy’s.
We will meet up at the Pueblo CSU Extension office parking lot (park inside the parking lot to avoid parking fines). Seating is limited in our van, but you are welcome to drive yourself.
B e Prepared. This is an outdoor event:
o Please be sure to wear closed toed shoes.
o Recommendation to wear appropriate outdoor walking clothing with a hat or sunglasses.
o Please bring a sack lunch
o Recomendation to bring a water bottel
o Recomendation to wear sunscreen and bugspray
The fist 9 spots have the option to carpool. Self-driving tickets are also available.
