Fiddlers of the Genesee
Join us for a rousing evening of old-time fiddle music. Much of this music has been passed down from musician to musician through the generations as far back as the 17th century to as recently as the 1980’s. Audiences, young and old, love the lively fiddle music of FOG. Featuring reels from the Appalachian Mountains, Irish jigs and hornpipes, Texas western swing tunes, Bluegrass breakdowns, Civil War and other Americana ballads and, of course, sweet waltzes, this music is timeless and universal in its appeal.
