About this Event
Join us for an evening of Fiddler: A Miracle of Miracles (2019). “Fiddler” is the first in-depth documentary to chronicle the story of the international Broadway blockbuster Fiddler on the Roof and its creative roots in 1960s New York. Its journey from there to stages and screens around the world is recounted by numerous Broadway luminaries. The film explores the unexpected richness of the story’s themes as well as its vast reach across time and cultures, which are still relevant to this day. The film screening will be followed by a discussion with executive producer Patti Kenner. Ms. Kenner is an advocate for social causes, including arts education, women in politics, Holocaust survivors and history. She is also known for the award-winning documentary AHEAD OF TIME: The Extraordinary Journey of Ruth Gruber and is currently co-producing a documentary on Raoul Wallenberg.
