Welcome to the Fiction Writing Workshop for Homeschoolers Aged 11-18!
Is your child an aspiring author? Are they always scribbling stories into notebooks, or drafting plot points onto napkins?
Come join us at Inklings Book Shoppe (Bartow) for a fun and interactive workshop where young writers can unleash their creativity. This class meets for six 1.5 hour sessions from August 21-September 25th. In each session, your child will engage with writing craft tips, be provided exerpts from great literature, write on prompts, and will have opportunities to workshop their stories with peers.
Over the course of the class, your child will write and revise three stories with the potential of publishing one or more in an anthology. This anthology will be published and printed and sold in our bookstore. In fact, your child will have the opportunity to sell their book at an author signing event in our store!

By booking the first date, you are booking the entire 6-week class.
This class is taught by a certified English teacher and published writer. If seeking Step Up reimbursement, please reach out by email for an invoice.
