About this Event
Required: Bring your own overlock machine (also called a serger) to this class. Don't take this class if you do not have your own overlock machine!
In this hands-on class you will learn everything you need to set up your overlock machine for success! You will learn how to properly thread your machine and adjust the tension. When do you use 3 threads or 4 threads? What do those knobs and dials do? What kinds of threads and needles are appropriate? Learn the answers to these questions, and more, in this class! You will leave class with samples and notes, and a newly found confidence in using your overlock machine.
Paid tickets are required for everyone in the classroom, even if you are sharing a machine.
Bring to class: Overlock machine with power cord, foot control, all attachments and instruction manual, if available

Shannon has been a professional seamstress since 1998, a sewing teacher since 2005, and a local business owner since 2017.
Over the years she has worked with many local designers and small businesses, sewing their prototypes, samples, and custom orders
