Welcome back to the Fiber Arts Club! November will feature yarn: knitting, crochet, and spinning. Local resident Nellie will demonstrate how to spin wool on their spinning wheel and drop spindle.
December will feature REPAIR: sewing machine maintenance, mending, darning, and sashiko. Local resident Josie will demonstrate how they repair antique sewing machines.
All skill levels are welcome to learn a new technique or bring your own project to work on. This club is an open format to try out different fiber arts and form a community of fiber friends! Enjoy tea or coffee and comforting background music.
This program is free and intended for teens and adults. No registration is required.
