PRESENTER: Peter Lawrence, Partner, Pitcher Partners (Newcastle and Hunter)
Peter’s career began as a trainee in 2004 in a small local practice before moving to larger firms whilst completing his studies. He joined Pitcher Partners Newcastle and Hunter in 2019, becoming a partner in July 2020.
Peter has a strong interest in decarbonising the economy and the positive impact it will have on the climate. He assists businesses in property, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing and medical industries. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle, Master of Business Administration from Deakin University, and a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Peter is also a Director and Chair of the Audit & Governance Committee for Business Hunter. Health and Wellbeing is a priority of Peter’s. He maintains a healthy work life balance, as he and his wife have two energetic little girls to keep up with!
